About us

We design and build the reactors behind certified biochar

Shaiva Green Carbons is a deep-tech climate company in Greater Noida, India, founded in 2024. We design and manufacture patented continuous reactors that turn biomass and waste into biochar and bio-coal.

What we do

Our business is technology and machinery. We sell reactors and turnkey plants, and advise developers who are building biochar and torrefaction projects.

Our reactor runs in two modes. Pyrolysis makes biochar for carbon removal, steel and soil. Torrefaction makes bio-coal that replaces coal in power plants, kilns and boilers. Biochar made in our reactor is certified Isometric Class 1 on Juliflora feedstock.

Advisory team

Experience at commercial scale

Our five advisors, engineers and specialists have stood in the plant, managed the contractor and handed over running facilities.

  • Our lead advisor headed India's largest MSW-to-coal torrefaction project, at 600 TPD, with over 30 years of thermochemical experience
  • The team has executed multiple 200 TPD torrefaction projects in India
  • Experience across biomass, agro-residue and municipal solid waste

Our advisors work in the industry, so we introduce them by name under NDA once an engagement is in view.
